Shire Grant Supports Club's Purchase of a Table Tennis Robot
New Table Tennis Robot
Thanks to the Shire of Denmark's Community Grants program, the Denmark Table Tennis Club purchased a new Halo S Pro table tennis robot. The new robot was picked up by our Club Coach, Roger D'Souza, and is now stored in the cage under lock and key at the Denmark Recreation Centre. The Club is getting another free-standing catcher net too. We use the Robot on Wednesdays evenings for coaching. Get in touch with Roger or Graham if you need to use it for a Club activity - the keys are kept at the front reception desk and the Wireless bluetooth Controller is in the Cage with the Robot.
Our new robot is used to support structured single-player coaching, with many preprogrammed drills on the e-pad controller to practise returns and improve skills.
The machine helps with skill development, junior participation, and inclusive training for players of all ages and abilities.
