DTTC is Buying a Table Tennis Robot

New Table Tennis Robot

Thanks to the Shire of Denmark's Community Grants program, we are about to purchase a new Halo S Pro table tennis robot from a Perth-based supplier. Once we pick it up, the robot will be stored at the DRC and used on Wednesdays evenings during coaching sessions.

Our new robot will be used at the Denmark Recreation Centre to support structured coaching sessions.

Once set up the robot will help with skill development, junior participation, and inclusive training for players of all ages and abilities.

Benefits

  • The Club now has an accredited entry-level coach and others willing to supervise the use of the machine, and the robot will significantly enhance the delivery of structured coaching.

  • A robot allows multiple players to train efficiently during a session, which is critical for a small, volunteer-run regional club.

  • The equipment supports junior development, beginners, and inclusive participation for players of varying abilities.

  • It reduces reliance on one-on-one coaching, improving sustainability and effective use of volunteer time.

  • The robot provides strong value for money, offering long-term training capacity beyond what a single additional table would deliver.

  • DTTC can cover the small additional cost associated with its purchase and freight costs.
